Thank you!

For me the French House is a special house! Special because it was build by a friend and filled with beautiful gifts of many more friends!

I am very very grateful and honored that I finally can give all the beautiful gifts a place in the house. These are the items which make the house so detailled and special!

Thanks to all of you and I hope I make you smile, if you see something you made for me on my pics:)))

I also did some more work on the house.
The sewing room has a new floor and for the living room I have made a simple and plain writing desk.

The floor in the sewing room needs to be waxed and aged...
In the living room are so many things I have to do, but I realy could not stop my self from playing and decorating the writing desk:)

    1. That is exactly what I did! I cut the table which I first use as sewing table in half:)
It was to big and now I have 2 entry tables:) Actually I'm thinking to do this with my real size work table too....and yes I have so much fun:)

  12. I think that the little table is adorable, Sab. I love the way that you have displayed the cards on a framed board held up with clothes pegs it is sooo attractive! I have always enjoyed displays of writing materials and especially letters in tied bundles.... the jar, the tower, the books, the cushion, the letters all so very chic. Love it all!

  13. Absolutely delightful Sab, I especially love the little bundle of books tied with pink ribbon, I might steal that idea! Very clever to cut the table to make the desk, and the internal window above it looks great (I'm sure I can just see Rosanna's sewing box lid peeking through).

Thanks for the info on making the pegs, I might try it but I must admit I'm so clumsy with sharp blades that I'm afraid I'd end up with no pegs and several cut fingers! ;)

  14. Hi Norma, for your comment:) yes, you have to be carefull cutting the pegs, I cut myself too a several times:(
I'm happy to hear that I have inspired you, that is the reason I show it on my blog....to share and inspire;)

The sewingbox was a gift from my Dutch friend Ineke!
