Serrated edged knife!

This is how I made the knife and you can use it also to

make a saw. I think the foto's speak for itself!

Planting Scheme!

Inspired by Sylvia I made a planting scheme today.

I had fun making it and I am very pleased with the result.

Normandië, France!

Last summer we went on a holiday to

Normandië France.We stayed in this beautiful

house .....and we enjoyed it very much.

This June we will go and stay there again.

We only had to walk down the stairs and the beautiful

beach was just at our feet.

I missed something?...making miniatures!

In one or the other manner it has nevertheless

succeeded me to make something without tools.

This beautiful orchid of pure silk I bought
at the grant in Arnhem.It is made by Carla
Zandvliet,she makes the most wonderful
flowers.

Dried Flowers!

I dried some petit flowers between very
heavy books! Yesterday I have framed some...

and this is the result!

Curiosities!

Zebra Finch

These eggs belongs to the Zebra Finch,they are very little

and the size wil do as an Ostrich egg in miniature size.

I turned these stands of wood with hand.

The first Europeans to see an ostrich egg sureley

stopped in their tracks.The size,the texture,the

weight!Instantly it was a Kunstkammer hit,added

to exotic shells and spiral narwhale teeth,skulls and

feathers.Worth their weight in gold in the 17th C.,

famous sculptors were commisioned to mount them

on baroque stands embellished with rubies and

diamonds.Never having lost the magic of their fluid

beauty,they now fit perfectly in the cabinet of

curiosities of the professor. (project I'm working on)

Nautilus on stand,and real tiny Urchin shells!

This unicorn horn was a gift to me by Debby,

(narwhale theeth).She makes the most amazing mini's

and I love it all! Take a look at her site she is a real artist!

Garden shed!

This is a small garden shed where I must still finish s a lot of. The

roof is yet not finished and in the garden there is a lot of

work to do. Still I wanted to show you this.
