Roof progress!

Are you already bored of my posting....:)

Just wanted you to show the work on the roof exit...I'm very pleased with the result!

Also made a bench, needs a mattress and a climbing rose, but that will happen soon. The picture with mattress is to show you the idea, but I need an other fabric. It's nice but not perfect....

Maybe you think, what a lot of bleu...but I think when everything will be covered with green, the blue will give a freshness to the whole.

  8. Dear Sabia,
Thank you so much for mentioning Minworks and my friend Elizabeth's StudioEMiniatures on your blog. I hope many will discover her site and tutourials.

Loved the breakfast tray and yes it is amazing how we can continue to fill up rooms. The bread for your open-faced sandwich is so realistic as are the rasberries. Everything is charming. I feel I must take time to revisit your house as one always focuses on something different with every visit.
You certainly have already collected and made some wonderful things for you roof-top garden.
Your little bench with the covered cushion and trellis wall worked out very well and will allow you to create little rooms.
    regards Janine

    1. You are very welcome Janine, I love your blog and thank you for the inspiration! The sandwich I made from real bread dough with lots of salt. I baked a tiny bread, and kept it to long in the oven than it gets it brown color...than cut some slises of the bread. Because it's very dry, you have to do that with caution because it can break. the inside looks just like the real thing:))) Have fun trying to make some delicious sandwiches!

  9. Hello Sabia, ,I'm Right behind Janine, Thank you so very much for mentioning my blog in your post. Janine was instrumental in getting me on line and when I started wandering through the internet, last year, yours was one of the sites that really impressed me, especially the bathroom of your French dollhouse! I am glad that my breakfast trays have inspired you as much as your work, in turn, has inspired me. That's what it is all about!
p.s. I love the little open faced sandwich and the bowl of berries and well,....I love it All!
