I decided, to use a bit of my blue/green/grey color also at the balkony and at the back of the house for consistensy...
A year ago, I also made one curtain for the livingroom, but never finished the second one...now I'm not satisfied with the curtain at all, so that has to be changed!

Hi Sab! I love that white tablecloth and how you have accessorized it. It's like a dream! I also like how it's whiteness stands out against the dark floor! For the exterior work, the green stands out better against the light wall. As for the curtains, I love them, I think they're splendid but it's for you to follow your muse, as we always must do.
ReplyDeleteThank you for your opinion:) I love that table too, it is decorated with gifts from friends ( as most of the stuff I have in my house:) When I was decorating it 2 years ago, I thought it was full enough, but today I saw that er is lots more space...so I think I will rearrange it ;)

I did not realize until today that there were more pictures before the post with the tray...LOL, for the shop the toy store is a nice idea with a table for tea pots and cake as the brocanterie tea room found last Saturday in Schiedam... Anyway you 'll find! But for some body who was getting back her inspiration!!!you are doing more than great! as usual your work is astonishing we missed you a lot! thanks for sharing, doei claude
ReplyDeleteThank you Claude! Yes I'm back. For the shop I decide to go with my first plan, a shop like the one in Schiedam:) lots of teapots, brocanterie and yummie cake!
DeleteHello Sabia! What a difference a little bit of color makes to the mood of a scene! I really like the way the potting bench comes forward and becomes the focal point in the 'AFTER' photo. With regard to your drape dielmma;, I like the way that you have the trim on the seat cushion complimenting the wonderful upholstery fabric that you chose, which ties into the color of the fringe on the drapes. What about repeating that chair fabric as your new window curtains? The subtle contrast would showcase the lovely table as you've intended. I have often had to change my direction, mid-stream and so I entirely emphasize with your new way of seeing things, especially when you have left a project for a while and then come back to it. There is such a wonderful atmosphere in this house! It is so fresh and relaxing. I am certain that the solution will present itself when the time is right!

Hi Elizabeth, the chair was a gift to me from my dear friend Sylvia! She made it for me, as many miniatures:) Like you say, I have changing my mind and direction and see things different now then a year ago. I totaly agree with your opinion that the solution will present itself....it always does:)))

DeleteHi Sab, I am so excited to see you back and posting, I kept looking all the time but I know how I come and go too, that is life and it is good to have many interests. I have to catch up with all of your projects and wonderful photos. You are always so inspiring. ♥Hugs, Jean
