A suitcase and more bed room:)))))

As I told you I attended a workshop by Wim van Soest.
Wim is a fantastic man, and a very good teacher and explains
everything clearly. He is an amazing artist and makes the most
wonderful, working miniatures! He has no website, sorry?
Stineke Faber organisez these meetings in her little shop.
Please go over to her site if you like www.eenoptwaalf.nl
She was a wonderful hostess the whole day, and she take good care
of us.

This is the suitcase I have made, I wanted to show you more
detailed pictures, but my old camera died just a couple of minutes ago.
I'm very proud of my suitcase and I exactly know, in what
scene I will use it...but that is an other project I have in mind.

First I planning to finish my French house before I start a new one:))))
So, I show you pictures I had in stock of the bed room.
Don't mind the floor, that is the last thing to do in this room, but
still did not figured out what kind of floor it will be?

The ceiling is also finished in this room...in the bath room I
did the same with the ceiling...show you an other time:)
I also made sheets and cushions for the bed. Of course it
needs a blanked and perhaps more cushions but that
I'll fix later:)))

I also add a canopy with padded blue silk fabric over the bed,
to make it look more romantic.

Last week I had some free time (just like today:)))
to work on my miniatures..having so much fun!!!

But because I don't know how long it will last, I'm working like
a crazy woman,;)))) I finished some more things
in the French house and I realy like to show it to you, but
I have to wait for a new camera???

Soon I promise xxxxxx

  3. I love vintage suitcases, both in miniature and 1 / 1 scale.
    Yours is wonderful :-)
The bedroom of the french house is delightfully romantic ... My ideal, if I were not married to a man! The men are terrified to sleeping in lace...who knows why?!

  4. I love the color light blue and I find it much more romantic pink ... so I think this room is sober and sweet at the same time, I like it too!
the sheets are a linen handkerchief, right? My mother taught me to make a point per day edging on your sheet, I think that sooner or later I will do so a blanket, embroidered by hand:))
The case is also very nice and well finished. I'd like to do an equal, but I can not find the skin so thin: (
good luck for your new camera, I hope to see other beautiful photos from you soon!

  9. I want to sleep right now in this bed (I am actually working at my dollhouse's bed and find it is a not-so-easy task). The robin's egg color of the bedroom is so nice, and what about this little fawn on fireside ! Bravo :)

  16. The suitcase is wonderful, I have a weakness for vintage suitcases, both 'real' size and mini.

Your French bedroom looks gorgeous, and how sensible you are to finish one project before starting another - I should follow your lead :)
